Legendary French Bakery, PAUL to Open Joburg Patisserie in March!

PAUL South Africa

Ladies, brace yourselves for the best news ever – super famous French patisserie, PAUL is officially opening its doors in South Africa this month! Famous Brands announced the partnership with the French bakery in November 2015 and we couldn’t help but freak a little (ok, a lot!) and now the day has finally come when we can get a little bit of PAUL’s magic in and around our mouths. The family-owned French chain of bakery-cafés was established in 1889 in Croix, Northern France and now, years later PAUL has partnered with operators in 41 countries across the globe. Here are all the details about the PAUL South Africa opening in Joburg this March.

“PAUL is unique in that the business is rooted in French baking tradition which dates back 120 years and five generations,” says Famous Brands’ Group Chief Executive, Kevin Hedderwick. “While the product offering is classically French, innovation and continuous development of new breads, viennoiseries, patisseries, seasonal sandwiches and other meals, is constantly woven into the fabric of the brand’s offering and experience. At the heart of PAUL’s values is a passion for craftsmanship, quality and tradition,” Hedderwick added.
