New Bacon Bar to Open in Cape Town!
If there’s one thing we love it’s bacon – we love bacon so much that we are of the opinion that bacon should be its very own food group! If you love bacon as much as we do (I mean, who doesn’t) and you live in Cape Town then listen up because there’s some exciting news about bacon coming your way. That’s right bacon lovers, a brand new bacon restaurant, Bacon on Bree dedicated to the sizzling delights will be opening its doors in April and we’ve got all the details right here!
Located on Bree Street (duh) the new eatery is set to wow Capetonians with some of the best bacon they have ever tasted. You can expect to see the new eatery open its door around Mid-April with an offering of day-time eats and treats from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 17:00. The restaurant will also be open in the evenings for private functions and selected events (like First Thursdays).
The new spot will offer bacon lovers all sorts of meaty treats such as French toast BLT with parmigiano and mustard mayo; a bacon and brie croissant, a grilled cheese with bacon and so much more. Basically you can expect really great food with simple flavours but made with the highest quality ingredients – for example their bacon sarmies will be made from the best quality bacon and bread specially baked by Knead. The spot also plans to serve beer and wine (when they get their liquor license approved) as well as a selection of coffee and juices.
As for the look and feel of the joint; the owners have hinted that the interiors will be modern and clean with a touch of industrial. We can’t wait to see it! Keep an eye out on WomenStuff to hear more about this eatery when it opens!
