Get Ready for Spring with These Spring Group Training Sessions!

After years of working as an Editor and writer for…
Like a lot of overly optimistic ladies, at the beginning of this year I begrudgingly signed up for a gym contract at my local sweat box. I promised myself I would go at least three times a week and so far I have visited a handful of times to buy a smoothie and prove to my medical aid that I was diligently doing stuff to stay healthy. Alas, my days of being lazy are numbered because in case you haven’t noticed it’s July and spring is on its way (this is your cue to freak out). Which means no more hiding underneath leggings, thick-knit jerseys and fabulous coats. But fear not because I’ve found the best way to wipe those winter cobwebs away and start summer feeling flexible, agile, strong, feminine and confident! Here’s why you definitely want and need to sign up for the YOUR BODY 8 or 12-week Spring Training Programmes!
Held by Leilah Kirsten of A Moment to Move in Cape Town, the YOUR BODY – Spring Training Programmes are just what you need to get excited about summer and stay motivated to be a healthier you. These ladies only, small group training sessions are designed to get you moving and grooving and ready to take on the world. Trainer Leilah loves to help women feel good about themselves and designed the unique 8 and 12-week group training style programme to help women kickstart their journey to a healthier life.
I love that the sessions combine everything from weightlifting and High-Intensity Interval Training to Pilates, stretching and weekend cardio but don’t take up more than 3 hours a week (hands up who’s excited now!) Yes ladies, dreams do come true and no you don’t have to spend every second of your free time breaking a sweat because the YOUR BODY sessions will help you achieve all the recommended forms of exercise your body needs each week.

The sessions take place a few times a week, including Mondays and Wednesday at 17:00 or 18:00, Tuesdays and Saturdays at 06:00 or 07:00 as well as additional cardio sessions on select Saturdays. Ladies can then choose to attend the classes most convenient for them. The programme also includes a monthly gym membership at Body Excel in Wynberg (no extra contract involved), and Healthy Eating Guide & Plan designed by Registered Dietician and Private Chef, Kelly Scholtz. Plus, to keep you motivated all through your journey you will also receive monthly weigh-ins, before & after pictures, goal setting and advice on body image.
Choose from the 8-week programme from 3rd August – 26th September, 8-week programme from 31st August – 24th October or the 12-week programme from 3rd August to 24th October 2015 at just R1 100 every 4 weeks. Ladies who pay for 8 or 12 weeks upfront will receive a 10% discount.
