The Winelands Chocolate Festival, A Chocolate Lover’s Dream!

Chocolate lovers if you only do one thing this year make it a trip to the Winelands Chocolate Festival in Cape Town! Taking place at Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West, on 25 and 26 July the festival promises to be a treat of note. With exhibitors up the wazoo the festival is set to be a chocolate lover’s dream come true. Festival goers can expect to see local chocolate producers and chocolatier such as Chocola J, Beyers Chocolates, Chocolates by Tomes, Honest Chocolates and many more.

Some highlights on the festival line-up also include Afternoon Tea (on Saturday at 15:00) where guests will get the opportunity to meet South Africa’s best loved chocolatiers and pastry chefs over a glass of bubbly and the finest chocolate Afternoon Tea created by a master chocolatier/chef; and Winelands Chocolate Theatre where guests can book to join the chocolatiers for special demos and pick up professional techniques and recipes.
