Great news, Sandton’s favourite eco-friendly music festival, Rise and Shine is back! Taking place at Sandton Central Park on Saturday 28 March the festival promises fabulous live entertainment, yummy food AND a smidge of yoga! Sounds like our kind of festival

That’s right, unlike other music festivals where you have to deal with a crowds, an entire day of standing on your feet a oily takeaways Rise and Shine Festival is all about keeping it fun, healthy and wholeseome. It’s a great festival to visit with your whole family as there is something for everyone to do. What’s more, by attending you will be helping the environment! Sponsors, Obikwa Wines and Johannesburg City Parks will plant a tree for every 50 people who attend the event!

Start the day off bright and early at 09:00 and join Yogi, Karen for a light yoga session on the lawn. It’s the best way to get ready for a full day of music, nature and great food. Speaking of food, after the yoga session festival goers can grab breakfast or lunch the various food stalls offering a wide variety of eats. The food vendors have been gathered from some of the best markets in Joburg so you’re bound to see some of your old favourites.

The live music line-up for the day includes loads of local artists such as The Plastics, Gangs of Ballet and Desmond & the Tutus.
