What started three years ago as a launch for the hotel’s Parisian-inspired Stella Café & Bar, the #StellaSessions has grown into something of a summertime institution in the Mother City… because what could be better than spending your summer afternoons poolside, sipping on glass after glass of gorgeous MCC?
So starting now, haul out your diary and make a date for every Friday afternoon from 17:00 – 19:00 at Southern Sun The Cullinan. Situated around the gorgeous pool, an oasis within the city, it’s the perfect weekly opportunity to unwind with your girls. Guests popping for drinks every Friday afternoon can look forward to bottomless bubbly for only R195 per person (what a steal!).
And, if you’re looking for something to nibble on while you sip then try a few of the delightful eats from the menu – options include tapas, fresh salads and light mains that pair perfectly with a glass of bubbly or three.
This year the hotel is in partnership with Krone and will be offering their stunning sipper, Krone Vintage Rosé Cuvée Brut 2016, at the #StellaSessions. This beautiful MCC offers a lightly floral and juicy, pomegranate bouquet with a lively berry palate. “Dressed in a fashionable pink from top to bottom, this bubbly will set the stage for many a memorable moment,” says Regional Sommelier at Tsogo Sun, Georgio Meletiou.
