While we love our Hendrick’s Gin mixed with the finest tonic water and a slice of cucumber, it’s also a great cocktail gin. Hosting a high tea with a difference? Skip the tea and serve a Hendrick’s Chelsea Rose cocktail instead. This fruity and floral cocktail pairs beautifully with cucumber sandwiches and scones served with cream and jam. To make it, combine 50ml Hendrick’s Gin, 150ml cloudy apple juice, 5 fresh raspberries, and a dash of fresh lemon in a generously sized tea pot and stir briskly. Leave to brew for a few moments before pouring into an ice filled tea cup.
Of course, Women’s Day also calls for a glass or two of champagne, so why not spruce up your glass of bubble with a dash of Hendrick’s? The fruit and fizzy, Raspberry Rose Royale cocktail is the perfect choice for special occasions. Just mix 25ml Hendrick’s Gin, 5ml sugar syrup, and 1 fresh raspberry together in a cocktail shaker (give it 3 brisk shakes) before straining it into a champagne flute and topping with your favourite champagne or sparkling wine. Don’t forget to mix it up before drinking.
