Vintage with Love: Luxury Charity Thrift Fashion Sale Returns to Cape Town

If you’re all about embracing the slow fashion movement, then this year’s Vintage with Love fashion sale is sure to get you all kinds of excited. Taking place from Thursday, 29 September to Sunday, 2 October 2022 at Makers Landing, Vintage with Love offers shoppers a not-to-be-missed fashion thrifting event. So, mark your diaries to join this fashion treasure hunt for the best pre-loved designer clothing and accessories.
Vintage with Love is a non-profit organisation that incorporates fashion and charity into one stylish venture; the resale of gently-worn clothes. Established in 2013 by Leigh Ord and Jacquie Myburgh Chemaly, the combines fashion and charity on a grand scale.
To date, Vintage with Love has donated in excess of R7 million to literacy and education charities. The sale events offer individuals everywhere the opportunity to be a part of a project to raise money for reputed literacy programmes by simply clearing out their wardrobes, donating gently worn items, and shopping.
The sale kicks off on Thursday 29 September at 16:00 to 20:00 and continues on Friday 30 September to Sunday 02 October. Shoppers can visit Makers Landing, at The Cruise Terminal, V&A Waterfront for the shopping event of the year.
Tickets prices for the event vary and can be purchased online via the Vintage with Love website. Tickets start from R50 for the general sale to R250 per person for the opening night on 29 September.Â
