Vegan “Junk Food” Restaurant, Lekker Vegan, Opens in Cape Town
Being vegan doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in all things morish and greasy and thanks to a new foodie spot in Cape Town, those following a meat-free diet can now also indulge in a guilty pleasure every now and then. Offering a wide range of gourmet vegan “junk food”, Lekker Vegan is sure to be a popular spot for both Vegans and carnivores alike!
Dedicated entirely to vegan junk food, the restaurant is the first of its kind in Cape Town and is open 7 days a week, and until 3 am on weekends, giving you another snack option other than the usual fast food joints after a night out.
The menu offers delights like veggie burgers, nuggets, and sweet potato fries as well as moreish dips as accompaniments. As an end game, try an Indonesian-style crispy banana dessert topped with luscious vegan bubblegum ice cream.
