Uber Offers Super Affordable Massage Promotion with Uber Relax!

The WomenStuff team are huge fans of Uber. We don’t know how we’d get around without them and now they’ve gone and launched what is quite possibly the coolest thing ever … yes, cooler than Uber Chopper. The popular driving service has partnered with Massage on the Move to bring massages straight to their customers’ door! We introduce to you the super awesome Uber Relax.
On 17 April 2015 Uber will launch the brand new one-day-only service to stressed out office workers, students and housewives who need a quick boost of relaxation. Just call Uber Relax and and a qualified massage therapist will arrive at your home or office in no time at all. The service is aims to offer quick Indian Head and Shoulder Tension Release massages to busy clients who want a pick-me-up after a long and hectic week.
The booking includes 6 massages for the super low price of R200 (yes, R200 for 6 massages!) which means that you and 5 of your friends or colleagues can enjoy a quick 15 minute massage each OR you can keep the relaxation all to yourself and enjoy a 45 minute massage on your own. The minimum booking fee is R200 per hour so even if you have less than 6 people the minimum fee applies. Alas, the service is only available in Joburg and Pretoria so Capetonians will be left with some serious FOMO.
Here’s how it works:
1. If you don’t have Uber, you need to download the App onto your phone and sign up.
2. Open the Uber app on Friday 17 April 2015 between 10:00 and 16:00 and you will see a lotus icon.
3. Toggle over to the lotus icon
4. Set your pickup location and tap the “UberRELAX” button to request your therapist.
Demand will be high, so if you are not successful the first time – keep on trying, it will be worth it!
