The new Keratin Smooth range from TRESemmé claims to combat frizz for up to 48 hours and leave you with manageable and sleek salon-quality hair so I decided to put the products to the test!
Using the correct shampoo and conditioner can make a world of difference when it comes to keeping frizz under wraps. I got the chance to try the new TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo, Keratin Smooth Conditioner and Keratin Smooth Deep Treatment Masque and now they’re my go-to products when the frizz sets in. I love that ‘second-day hair’ tends to be easier to style, when using this range and I must mention that it left my hair smelling like a fruity rainforest – mmmmm tropical!
So what’s the secret? It all comes down to one magic ingredient – Keratin (hence the name of the range). Our hair is made up of pretty much 90 percent keratin – these little protein bundles help make up the structure of each strand ensuring that you have strong, healthy looking hair. Of course, when we’re not so kind out to our hair and put it under stress with heat styling, colouring, and other chemical applications, we break down the keratin in our hair resulting in frizzy, unruly hair that looks a little worse for wear. That’s where TRESemmé’s new Keratin Smooth range comes in. The products help to put some life back into your hair and rebuild those keratin bonds.
The great thing about this range is that it’s super affordable and it works! Of course, the results aren’t permanent but if you keep using the range you will continue to get great results.
