There’s a Massive Yoga Class Taking Place at the CTICC on 16 June!

Love yoga? Make sure you free up your calendar because a massive yoga class is taking place in Cape Town this weekend! That’s right yogis, get ready to roll out your mat and savasana with 2000 fellow yoga lovers in celebration of International Yoga Day with a mass yoga class at the CTICC on Saturday 16 June. Hosted by Joëlle Sleebos and Adidas, the fun-filled event is the perfect place for newbies and more advanced yoga lovers to come together and appreciate the joys of yoga.
Learn how to improve your flexibility, balance, core and general well-being through mindfulness and focus, while enjoying a fabulous day out. All you have to do is bring the bare necessities: a yoga mat or beach towel and yourself!
If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time to get involved! Taking place on Saturday 16 June from 08:30 to 19:00, this yoga-tastic event promises to be a zen-filled day out. In addition to the mass yoga class, International Yoga Day with Joëlle Sleebos will also serve to promote health, well-being, peace and serenity through the art of yoga.
The event will offer both morning (08:30 to 13:00) and afternoon (14:00 to 19:00) yoga and wellness sessions – expect yoga classes, a yoga market, workshops and tons of prizes to be won too. Plus, the first 250 people to arrive will receive a free Adidas goodie bag, so don’t be late!
All participants are required to make a donation of your choice to the Earthchild Project charity as an entry ticket (either R50, R75, R100, R200, R500 or R1000). The organisation aims to connect children to the earth through learning the art of yoga; teaching practical skills like gardening and inspiring younger generations to love the planet. So it’s for a great cause too!
