The Curry Club Delivers Gourmet Curries to Your Door in Cape Town!

Nothing warms the heart and soul quite like a yummy curry but let’s face it, cooking an authentic curry from scratch, on your own, isn’t always that easy. Well ladies, it’s time to put down that wooden spoon because now there’s a way to get the curry to come to you. As if Capetonians aren’t spoilt enough with the dizzying number of food options available in the city, there’s now a dedicated curry delivery service to add to the list. The Curry Club, a delivery-only curry kitchen, has just arrived on the Cape Town food scene and we have to admit, it’s got us all kinds of excited!

Offering a variety of mouthwatering curries, samoosas, bhajis, and a desserts, The Curry Club is all about offering Cape Town curry lovers high-quality curries in the comfort of their own homes. The menu, which is described as ‘London-style Punjabi’, boasts a mix of both old family recipes and more modern non-traditional British-inspired dishes, that are sure to impress even the most tough curry critics.

Favourites on the unique menu include The Mighty Madras (a lamb curry made with curry leaves, mustard seeds and cashews in a tasty tomato gravy), The Gunpowder Chicken or Lamb (which incorporates the meat, cumin, cinnamon and potatoes in a slow-roasted chilli tomato base) and Bangain Mirchi Ka Salan (aubergines in a flavoursome gravy made with curry leaves, coconut and mustard seeds). The Lamb Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken are also firm faves.

The menu offers five chicken, five lamb, six veggie, and three seafood options, all served with a side of rice, and prices range from R130 to R175 per meal. The Curry Club currently only delivers to the CBD and surrounding areas but be patient, the Gardens kitchen is almost ready to deliver to more suburbs across the Cape Town!
