Enjoy a meal and refreshments on top of Table Mountain, with incredible views to boot. From snacks and cocktails in the sunshine to special meals with loved ones, you’re sure to find the perfect dining experience to complement your visit.
But, we know what you’re thinking, how do I get up there? The super affordable, user-friendly Virtual Cable Card offers outdoor enthusiasts and workaholics year-round access to the Cableway with one return trip in the cable car per day.
At just R1,500 for year-round access, investing in a Table Mountain Cableway one-year pass is a no-brainer. Cable Cards for children under 17 years of age cost R750. A normal all-day return trip up the mountain costs R430 for adults, and R215 for children under 17 years of age. So, if you’re planning to summit the mountain as a family a few times a year, it’s a great option to explore.

Ten67 Eatery
Ten67 Eatery has a selection of delicious meals and snacks, including options for kids, as well as tasty pastries and sweet treats. You’ll find dishes inspired by South African cuisine, and a selection of fresh salads, sandwiches, and pizza slices.
Breakfast is served daily from opening time until 11:30. Lunch and light meals are served from 11:30. Drinks include fine wines, beer, speciality coffees and teas, fruit juices, and sodas. For a picnic lunch visit the gourmet deli to choose from a selection of savoury deli items, throughout the day such as baguettes, bagels, wraps and sandwiches. TEN67 Eatery closes half an hour before the last car down (check the website for up-to-date operating hours).

Kloud Bar
While exploring the iconic, flat Table Mountain summit, make sure to stop over at Kloud Bar by Aperol Spritz for a quick refreshment. If you’re young at heart, with a zest for life, then this snap-worthy bar is just the space for you!

This mountain-top pitstop offers a view like none other. Located at the Twelve Apostles Terrace just below the Ten67 Eatery, Kloud Bar invites you to grab a drink whilst admiring spectacular views. Grab a drink and sip on perfection whilst admiring the views.
The menu at Kloud offers Aperol on tap, beer, liqueurs and spirits, wine, energy drinks, water, and various soft drinks. The menu also offers a few snacks to enjoy with your drinks.

Views by De Grendel
Take your Table Mountain Cableway experience to new heights with a visit to Views by De Grendel Wines. This wine lounge has breathtaking panoramic views of Cape Town and has been refurbished with a modern chic look and feel.
Whether you have hiked up Table Mountain’s slopes or taken the Table Mountain Cableway to the summit, a stop at Views will give you a chance to kick back and enjoy a refreshing snack and a glass of De Grendel wine before you continue on your adventure.

Launched in 2022, the wine lounge atop Table Mountain gives visitors a chance to savour a Cape Town wine experience while taking in the best ocean scenery. If wine is not your thing, why not have a cold beer or whisky? On those cooler days, enjoy warming up with a comforting coffee or tea. For those feeling a little peckish enjoy a bagel or snacks from a variety of available food items.
Views is the perfect location for anyone who needs a unique space to work remotely or meet with colleagues overlooking the city. Tables have charging stations and free WiFi is available.
More about the Table Mountain Cable Card
Your virtual Cable Card can be saved to your phone or visitors can print it out if they like. Upon visiting the Cableway, the virtual Cable Card will be scanned from your phone or print-out. The annual pass gives visitors ‘free’ entrance to the Cableway, valid for one year from the date of purchase. With the Cable Card you can visit the Cableway as often as you like, limited to one return trip per day (i.e. one trip up and one trip down per day). The Cable Card also qualifies card holders for discounts on selected items at the Shop at the Top and Ten67 Eatery.
Choose between a standard Cable Card holder pass, or for a small extra fee, the Fast Track Cable Card with access the Cable Cars Fast Track pathway. The Cable Card can be purchased online or at the Lower Cable Station between 09:00 and 15:00, Monday to Sunday (including public holidays) at the Visitor Centre. Don’t forget to bring a valid South African ID (passport, birth certificate, ID book) or a valid passport for non-South Africans. A Pensioner Cable Card is available to South Africans 60 years and older only (South African ID required).
