And, the great news is we’ve got the scoop about their brand new collection, straight from the Mediterranean island of Menorca!
Pretty Ballerinas launched in South Africa in 2013 with a stand-alone store at Hyde Park Corner shopping mall bringing their exclusive range of ballet flats, ballet pumps and flat shoes along with them. The shoes are hand-made on the Mediterranean island of Menorca by the legendary Mascaró family, whose shoe business has been running since 1918! Today the brand continues to show us that the iconic ballet flat will never lose its charm!
The Pretty Ballerinas collection consists of over 100 different styles, all exclusively handcrafted with unique materials and colour combinations and this coming season’s new additions is set to wow shoppers. The brand has expanded into using new textures, styles and colour pallates offering fun designs with an ultra feminine look. Look out for the Lena and Ella pointed toe ballerina (a sophisticated update on the classic ballerina) in various new prints including hounds-tooth, tartan and snake-effect as well as the Lena ankle boots in a wide array of fabrics and colours including black leather with chain adornments and suede.
