Stellenbosch Hills gets Festive with Fizz & Fudge Summer Pairing

The Stellenbosch winelands offer loads of opportunities for interesting wine and food pairings but this Fizz & Fudge Summer Pairing from Stellenbosch Hills has us all kinds of excited! Because what could be better than a gourmet fudge and bubbly pairing?

A match made in food heaven, the Fizz & Fudge Summer Pairing lets you taste two of Stellenbosch Hills’ finest bubblies along with homemade, handcrafted melt-in-your-mouth fudge. Launching in November until February, this experience is sure to tingle your taste buds like no other.

Guests will be treated to a duo of Stellenbosch Hills’ Polkadraai bubblies along with custom-made, luxurious flavoured fudge by Basilei confectionary. The first bubbly, the Polkadraai Pinot Noir Sparkling Rosé 2018 offers flavours of strawberry and a hint of candyfloss and is paired with a traditional butter fudge. The second, Polkadraai Sauvignon Blanc Brut 2018, is brought to life alongside a decadent chocolate malt fudge, which brings out the bubbly’s crisp, tropical fruit flavours.
