Starbucks to Open First Store in Durban this November!

A little over a year after opening its first store in Joburg, Starbucks has finally announced plans to open its first Durban store this year (hip hip hooray!). Starbucks launched its first store in Rosebank, Joburg in April last year and followed with three additional stores in Gauteng at Mall of Africa, Menlyn Maine and Menlyn Park but now the chain is setting its sights on KZN. Here are all the details on the new Starbucks Durban store.
Yes indeed, come November 2017 Durbanites will have their very own Starbucks stores after a much-anticipated wait. Taste Holdings, the group behind Starbucks in South Africa, have announced plans to open a further 8 to 10 Starbucks outlets in South Africa this year including an expansion to Cape Town and Durban. According to Taste Holdings, the rollout of more Starbucks chains will be a slow process to ensure the highest possible quality Starbucks experience for South Africans.
The first Durban store will open on Florida Road on the 25th November 2017 and will be followed by a second store shortly after in the Gateway Shopping Centre.
