Starbucks is Finally Coming to South Africa!

Coffee lovers, dreams do come true! The king of coffee, Starbucks is finally coming to South Africa (happy dance). This latest international arrival will be brought to us by Taste Holdings (the poppets who brought us Dominos pizza) who have signed an exclusive deal with the US coffee company. We’ve got all the details on the Starbucks South Africa opening below so keep reading to find out how you can get your Starbucks fix soon!
The first Starbucks South Africa store will open its doors in Johannesburg in the first half of 2016, with more locations to follow throughout the year. The great news is that each store will be a stand-alone Starbucks store with the entire Starbucks range of food and drinks on offer (Pumpkin Spice Lattes here we come!)
But besides the limited edition Spiced Pumpkin Latte what else can we expect from the Starbucks menu? Well, for starters there’s the Starbucks ethically-sourced Arabica coffee as well as a wide range of iced coffees, iced teas, Frappuccinos, cold pressed juices, hand-crafted sodas, smoothies and so much more. Drinks to look forward to include the famous Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino, Red Velvet Cake Crème Frappuccino, Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, and the Golden Ginger Ale Fizzio soda.
As for the food; customers will be able to tuck into a range of baked goods, sandwiches, Paninis, salads and breakfasts. We can’t wait for things like the Toasted S’mores Tart, Old-Fashioned Grilled Cheese sandwich, and the incredible Starbucks bistro boxes.
