Shimansky Unveils Table Mountain Silhouette Ring

London has Big Ben, New York has the Statue of Liberty, and Cape Town has Table Mountain. The silhouette of the Mother City’s majestic mountain has been printed on many a t-shirt and is recognisable across the globe as a symbol of Cape Town and its natural beauty. Now, Shimansky is taking the Table Mountain silhouette way beyond the humble t-shirt by unveiling the Table Mountain Ring Collection. Paying homage to South Africa’s most iconic natural wonder, this new collection is a Capetonian woman’s dream come true.
Shimansky CEO and Founder, Yair Shimansky, who unveiled the Table Mountain Ring at the opulent Rockwell showroom, said that the Table Mountain Ring is more than a ring, it is a soulful connection with the majestic natural phenomenon, Table Mountain, that gives Cape Town and South Africa its special presence on the globe. “The Ring enables locals and visitors to become a part of that special magic every day, wherever they are,” said Shimansky.
The iconic silhouette of Table Mountain inspired the design, and the hero piece is a Table Mountain gold ring housing 27 diamonds, intricately tracing the outline of the mountain. For the next three months the ring will be available in silver from R980 and all colours of gold from white, yellow or rose in three different styles: plain, with a single diamond or with 27 diamonds.
Made from South Africa’s most precious natural treasures, gold and diamonds, the new ring is sure to be a must-have gifting item for the festive season.
The Table Mountain Ring collection will be available from 1 December at the Shimansky showrooms and stores, and at the gift shop on top of Table Mountain. For more information visit the Shimanksy website.
