Rubi By Cotton On Launches Standalone Stores in South Africa!
If you love Cotton On and Rubi shoes then listen up! Global retail brand, Cotton On has just announced that its footwear and accessories brand, Rubi will open its first standalone stores in Johannesburg this month (eep!) According to the brand, South African customers have been loving Rubi in the Cotton On megastores so much that they have decided to up the ante with two standalone Rubi by Cotton On concept stores at Centurion Mall and The Glen Shopping Centre in November. Which means more shoes for us to love!
The new Rubi by Cotton On concept stores will feature a clean aesthetic with washed timber floors, exposed white bricks and studio-style lighting and will be chockful of beautiful shoes for you to love and take home with you. This season’s collection is all about capturing that nostalgic feeling of the summer holidays with Rubi by Cotton On’s Vacay Every Day campaign. The tan sandal rules this summer, paired with on-trend Hamptons stripes, denim and soft natural fibres to create the ultimate vacay wardrobe. A bright injection of colour sees the collection swing to high summer mid-season, with bright, bold layers complemented with sandals or pool slides.
Heading into the New Year, you can expect something a little different as the trend takes a subtle nod towards the nineties with monochromatic tones expressed through stripes and laid back mono prints. This is great news for lazy lasses who love nothing more than to be comfortable as the nineties were all about no-fuss dressing with sneakers and slides.
