With international acts such as The Kooks, Milky Chance and The Cat Empire on stage alongside incredible South African acts such as aKing, Fokofpolisiekar, Jack Parow, and The Rudimentals there’s no chance you can miss out on this line-up. Seriously though, The Cat Empire is regarded as one of the best festival bands in the world (true story!) and never fail to get the crowd all riled up. Music lovers are also super excited for Milky Chance to hit the stage and wow us with well-known radio hits.

No idea what or who we’re talking about? Check out Milky Chance on YouTube here, The Kooks on YouTube here and The Cat Empire on YouTube here.

2. It’s like a mini holiday but at half the price!

Forget schlepping to Plettenberg Bay for a holiday with your friends, Rocking the Daisies tickets are just R950 per person and includes a piece of land to put up your tent (yay!) You can also upgrade your ticket and spring for Daisies Plus camping. For just R950 extra (or R1800 including your festival ticket) you will get a separate and convenient festival entrance and separate parking area right by the camping zone, access-controlled private camping, an exclusive bar facility and chill area in your campsite and exclusive premium ablutions.

3. You get to rock festival fashion … without looking crazy.

Seriously, when else are you going to get the opportunity to wear that crochet vest you bought from Cotton On or that super pretty flower crown you so desperately want to don every time you’re heading out the door? The answer is never unless you attend Rocking the Daisies 2015. But all jokes aside, the festival is a great excuse to let your inner hippie-slash-fashionista shine. It’s also a great place to check out local fashion!

4. You’ll meet new people and maybe even have a festival romance.

One of the best things about festivals is meeting new people. When people are having a great time they tend to let their guard down.. which means bye-bye clicky Capetonians and hello new friends! Who knows, you might even enjoy a little festival romance (swoon) and what’s a holiday without a romance right? If you already have enough friends, then this is also a great place to create amazing memories with your friends – nothing says ‘besties for life’ better than cuddling up together for warmth in a freezing cold tent.

5. Be a part of the tribe!

Another awesome side effect of festivals is the tribe vibe. For some reason, when people gather in the dust for a weekend of great music they tend to feel like they are part of a greater community, a tribe if you will. Everyone at Rocking the Daisies is there to have a good time and there are few places in South Africa where you can experience this kind of camaraderie.

So now that you’ve decided to go you can click here to buy your tickets you can also click here to visit the Rocking the Daisies website for more info on the festival.
