Puma Drops To-Die-For Capsule Collection with Karl Lagerfeld
Puma has announced a lot of exciting collaborations in the past, and just when you thought the collaborations couldn’t get any better Puma drops a bomb of note by announcing a collaboration with fashion icon, Karl Lagerfeld! Fusing Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic aesthetic with Puma’s classic street style, this brand new, Puma X Karl Lagerfeld capsule collection celebrates 5o years since the launch of the original Suede Classic sneaker.
Launching in October, the Karl Lagerfeld X Puma collection will drop just three days after the official 50th anniversary of the Puma Suede Classic. Fusing two iconic brands and individual styles, this collection is a chic, modern take on Lagerfeld’s signature design aesthetic and Puma’s classic street style.
The collection includes two unisex pairs of the Puma Suede sneaker featuring Lagerfeld’s iconic design print — a tuxedo jacket, white collar, tie and sunglasses — which beautifully blend the two styles together. Available in both white and black with either a trendy Karl graphic or removable sunglasses detail, these sneakers have a luxurious feel and are totally wearable for the upcoming warm season.
But it’s not just about the sneakers, the women’s clothing range includes a cool crop top in white with black detailing, and a tux-inspired two-piece tracksuit set in Puma’s iconic T7 track style. Another winner is the comfy but trendy T7 jumpsuit in black, featuring Puma’s well-known 7mm stripes down the side, as well as complementary accessories like a hold-all black backpack, nifty shoulder bag, and baseball cap all featuring custom Karl Lagerfeld X Puma branding.
The Karl Lagerfeld X Puma collection will be available for pre-sale on 18 October from karl.com and puma.com. The worldwide drop will take place on 19 October at Puma Select and X-Trend stores.
