PSA: Marcel’s Launches Frozen Yoghurt Celebration Cakes!
South Africa’s much loved frozen yoghurt brand, Marcel’s, has developed a number of innovative new flavours and products over the years. But now, the brand is taking innovation to a whole new level with the introduction of simply indulgent Marcel’s frozen yoghurt celebration cakes!
This year, the pandemic has created an opportunity for the brand’s innovative new product development (NPD) team to really focus on creating new and exciting product offerings and this December the team launched the exciting menu of frozen yoghurt cakes, which are ideal for any celebration.
Bring on the summer happiness, and mark everything from milestone moments to ‘just-because’ celebrations with a delicious Marcel’s frozen yoghurt cake. English Toffee is one of Marcel’s most loved flavours, and now you can order an entire English Toffee cake! The English Toffee & Chocolate Cake (R470 per cake) is made from layers of Marcel’s Frozen Yoghurt English Toffee and Chocolate, with a chocolate ganache and fudge layer in between on an Oreo cookie crumb base, topped with chocolate drizzle.
The cakes are 23 cm in diameter and approximately 10 cm in height. You should get about 18 slices out of each cake (less if you slice it more generously). Serving cups and paddles are provided with each cake. All cakes are made to order so make sure you pre-order it with enough time before your event.
The cakes retail from R450 to R470, depending on the cake and are available to pre-order ahead of your celebration from any Marcel’s store nationwide.
In addition to the delicious frozen yoghurt cakes, Marcel’s has also recently launched its highly anticipated drinking yoghurt range.
Available in 4 flavours in 250ml bottles, these drinkable treats are perfect as a delicious snack during the summer months. Flavours include Strawberry, Mango & Coconut, Cranberry & Litchi and Chocolate.
Made with only real dairy and natural fruit, this product is preservative-free and packed with BB2 probiotics. The drinking yoghurts retail for R14.50 and are available from Marcel’s stores, nationwide.
