Popular UK Food Chain, Las Iguanas is Coming to South Africa!

Popular UK eatery, Las Iguanas is coming to South Africa this year and we can’t wait to get a first taste. Specialising in authentic Mexican, Brazilian & South American food, the restaurant is being brought to the country by fast food retail company, Gold Brands known for existing successful fast food brands like Chesanyama, Blacksteer, and Chicken Wild Wings.
Las Iguanas started in Bristol in 1991 and has become one of the UK’s most popular casual dining restaurants. Known for its vibrant colours and atmosphere, the outlet, which now has 53 sites, offers an inviting and fun environment for diners looking for something a little bit different. With the first outlet opening in Johannesburg in June 2017, and more branches to roll out in the coming months, South Africans will soon grow to love this fabulous new spot.
An integral part of the Las Iguanas identity is its extensive cocktail offer, which boasts a variety of classic South American-style cocktails, such as mojitos, caipirinhas and margaritas. As for the food, the menu draws inspiration from exciting flavours across South America, featuring a large range of tacos, alongside a selection of Mexican classics and tapas style small plates, among other favourites.
Las Iguanas will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, with specials added daily. Stay tuned to find out more about the first Las Iguanas branch opening in South Africa soon.
