Outdoor Movie Nights at Spier Return in 2018!
Nothing says romantic like watching a movie under the stars! Summer in the Cape see wine estates hosting a wide range of markets, food and wine pairing experiences, and other fun events and this year Spier is bringing back its super popular Spier Outdoor Movie Nights under the stars. This year promises a great line-up of classic movies to choose from so get the popcorn ready and let’s go to the movies!
Starting from February and running until April 2018, the Spier Outdoor Movie Nights are a great way to spend some quality time with a loved one or family. Offering the perfect evening, guests are welcome to settle under the stars with a picnic and enjoy a movie on the big screen set against the backdrop of the majestic Stellenbosch Mountains.
The first movie is on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday 14 February and will allow valentines to cosy up under the stars while they watch the classic romantic comedy, Pretty Woman. Other movies on the line-up include Austin Powers and Panama.
Gates open at 18:00 and movie starts at 20:30. Tickets are R95 per adult and R70 per child which includes popcorn on arrival. For a real experience, you can also add a pre-booked picnic basket for R580 to your ticket. The basket serves 2 adults, and includes a bottle of Spier Signature wine. The Valentine’s Day pre-booked picnic basket is priced at R700 (serves 2 adults, and includes a bottle of Spier Secret Sparkling).
