No Drawing Required: Pictionary Card Game is Fun for the Whole Family

Pictionary Card Game

Looking for a new game to play on family game night? Pictionary Card Game is a fun new take on the classic Pictionary game we’ve all come to know and love — except now, there’s no drawing required! The easy-to-play card game promises to be fun for the whole family, combing the thrill of charades with the fun of Pictionary in the craziest card game ever.

This exciting new card game is easy to learn and convenient to play. The game is compact and portable, so if you don’t have space to pack a big board game for your holiday, then you can still enjoy family board game fun while you’re away. Pictionary Card Game is no bigger than a deck of cards and can be easily slipped into a backpack, carry-on suitcase, or handbag.

The pack contains two sets of clues for adults and kids and can be played by anyone ages 8 years old and up. Included in the box is 88 picture cards (2 sets, red and blue), 56 clue cards, and a set of rules.

Much like the original Pictionary, the game is a race to build clues with pictures. In this game, 4 or more players young or older divide into 2 teams and then race to act out clues using the simple images printed on their set of picture cards. Rather than having to draw, players participating in the game simply act out clues for their team using the cards available in their hands. The cards can even be combined to build scenes or used as props! The first team to guess the correct answer wins a point, and the first team to score five points wins the game.

Pictionary Card Game

I played this game with my family, and it was incredibly fun. It’s a great game for people who enjoy Pictionary but are not skilled at drawing, and each game is different because the picture cards allow for almost endless combinations and clue descriptions. You can use the picture cards to be direct and to the point, or be a clever sausage and combine pictures or interact with them to turn them into something else entirely.

But don’t be fooled by the easy-going description, this game can be challenging. The limited deck of drawings requires you to be resourceful. You really have to be creative with how you use them. To get someone to guess the song title “Dancing Queen” with simple rock painting-like drawings is no easy task! Even if you can think fast and bring together the perfect combination of pictures, it’s still touch-and-go whether your team is going to figure it out. Of course, the pay-off when they do is oh-so-sweet and makes all the effort worth it.
