New Season of Come Dine With Me South Africa to Air in March, 2019!

Everyone’s favourite local cooking competition is back for a fifth season — yes indeed, it’s time to dust off your spatulas because BBC Africa is dropping a fresh season of Come Dine With Me South Africa this March! Arguably one of South Africa’s best reality TV shows, Come Dine with Me South Africa never fails to disappoint with its interesting cast of characters and mouth-watering dishes.
The series that makes jaws drop at the drama has announced it will première its fifth season on Monday 11 March, 2019 at 20:00. The season will start off with a special celebrity première episode, featuring soapie actress Candice Modiselle, reality TV star Christall Kay, fashion designer Gert-Johan Coetzee, and hilarious drive time radio DJ Lucky Du Plessis. For this star studded season premier this group of local celebrities will come together to be wined, dined and entertained in each other’s homes in a bid to win the R10 000 prize – but this time it is all for charity!
Bigger and better than before with 13 episodes, the show will once again feature the savage commentary skills of voiceover legend, Dave Lamb and follow local home cooks as they attempt to delight and dazzle their dinner guests.
Come Dine With Me SA will transport viewers to Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town into the homes of some of wildest, most outrageous citizens. Contestants cook their way to the top (or bottom) to see who has what it takes to win the coveted R10,000 cash prize. The fifth season promises a fabulous feast of spicy entertainment that perfectly reflects what South Africa’s cooking and social scene is all about.
Come Dine With Me South Africa will air on BBC BRIT, DSTV channel 120 from Monday 11 March at 20:00.
