New Music You Should Be Listening To
There’s so much fabulous new music being released every day that it’s almost impossible to keep up with it all. So, in the interest of keeping you ‘with it’ and in ‘the know’ we thought we would give the low-down on some new music that you should definitely be listening to right now. Here are our favourite new(ish) releases.
Tweak: ‘The A Team’ (Punk Rock)
No this is not a dream and you are not back in high school rocking out with your besties, Tweak is back! The band has recently released their first song in ten years (eep!) and it’s a cracker of a tune. Yes, it makes us feel like we’re 16 again but who cares! If you loved their hits ‘Birthday Card’ and ‘Girls Rule the World’ then you’re going to love this new tune.
Bebe Rexha: ‘I’m gonna show you crazy’ (Pop)
American singer-songwriter; Bebe Rexha is one artist you should definitely be listening to this year! You might recognise her voice from her vocals on Cash Cash’s “Take Me Home” and her unaccredited vocals on David Guetta and Nicki Minaj’s “Hey Mama.” This girl can really sing and we love her angst-filled brand of pop music.
Megan Davies: ‘Infinite’ (Pop)
Singer-songwriter Megan Davies started off as a YouTube star uploading mash-ups of popular hits with her younger sister. Now she is writing her own original music. Davies says she wrote this new song, Infinite after reading ‘The Perks Of Being A Wallflower’ and that it’s about that feeling of being young and entirely in the moment to the extent where it feels like that moment will never end.
Machine Gun Kelly: ‘A Little More’ ft. Victoria Monet (Rap)
Rapper Machine Gun Kelly is back with another super cool tune featuring songstress Victoria Monet. Released on 18 May 2015 this new tune is the first off of Machine Gun Kelly’s new album due for release this year. If you love rap then this is a must listen!
