New LINDT Chocolate Boutique & Studio Opens at V&A Waterfront Silos

After years of working as an Editor and writer for…
Last week, LINDT opened the doors to its new Chocolate Boutique & Studio Concept Store at the V&A Waterfront’s Silo District. The delicious new spot houses both the classic LINDT Chocolate Boutique, as well as a world first LINDT Chocolate Studio concept, where customers can get their hands dirty taking part in various chocolate experiences. Here’s the low-down on this new haven for chocolate lovers.
That’s right, dreams do come true as chocolate connoisseurs in Cape Town will now be able to participate in a variety of exciting classes under the guidance of the LINDT Master Chocolatiers. These experiences will not only see you leaving with loads of chocolate but you will also gain a greater understanding of the LINDT Difference, the chocolate making process, and learn to make your own confectionary treats like pralines, cakes or special desserts to take home. But wait, there’s more – participants will also earn a 10% discount on their purchases from the LINDT Chocolate Boutique & Studio after taking part in a chocolate experience class.
I got the chance to experience the new studio space and made my own LINDT chocolate gold bunny just in time for Easter. While it was just a taste of the full LINDT Chocolate Classes it was such fun pouring the chocolate into the moulds and seeing the finished product once it had set. I can only imagine how fabulous it must be to attend a full session and leave with a bag full of chocolate goodies you’ve created with your own hands. The LINDT classes are perfect for birthday parties, team building, kitchen teas, or any other special occasion.
Upcoming classes at theV&A Waterfront Silo studio include 1-hour LINDT Chocolate tastings from Thursday 20 April – Sunday 23 April. Starting at 18:00 these classes allow you taste a range of LINDT creations at just R245 per person. Other fun classes include the Ultimate LINDT Chocolate Cake class on Wednesday 26 April 2017 at 18:00 (R475 per person) and the LINDT Chocolate Cupcakes class on Friday 28 April at 18:00 (R345 per person). For a full schedule of upcoming classes check out the LINDT South Africa website.
If you’re not into making your own chocolate but still want something out of the ordinary for a special occasion then you can also place special orders from the LINDT Chocolate Boutique. A chocolate lover’s dream, the new LINDT Chocolate Boutique at the Silos offers shoppers a wide range of LINDOR flavours in a Pick & Mix display, beautiful gifting ideas for every budget, as well as a range of exclusive products.
The new Chocolate Boutique & Studio will also offer visitors the chance to personalise their very own LINDT slabs with a range of high-quality ingredients such as caramelised almonds and hazelnuts, dried cranberries or sea salt. In addition, visitors to the Silo store will be able to delight in decadent treats like freshly made LINDT Hot Chocolate, LINDT Chocolate Shakes and a variety of delicious LINDT pralines, macarons and gelato flavours.
