10 New Beauty Products We Love! [Review]
Everyone loves getting pretty news things and today I’ve got 10 pretty new things to share with you! 1. Catrice Fixing Brow Wax
For brows that wow use Catrice Fixing Brow Wax. I’ve tried and tested a few brow waxes and gels in my day and this one was one of my most favourite yet. The easy-to-use transparent wax shapes your brows into a perfect arch and keeps them in shape without it feeling like your eyebrows are glued to your face. The wax leaves your brows feeling soft and I loved that it doesn’t have a sticky texture. Another plus about this product is that it comes in pencil shape with a retractable ‘pencil tip’.

2. Hean ‘Stay On’ Eyeshadow Base
If you just can’t get your makeup to stay put then you need this eyeshadow base in your life! The super soft base can be used under pressed or loose eyeshadow to give your makeup a long-lasting effect. And boy does it last! This nifty little product made sure that my eyeshadow didn’t budge all night long and I loved how soft it felt on my skin. It also helps to enhance the colour intensity of your eyeshadow and works great when you’re trying to create a smokey eye.

3. Gosh Giant Blush
This gorgeous blush stick is like blush for dummies! I love it because it allows you to add a natural-looking soft, blush look to your cheeks and cheek bones and because it’s super easy to use. The product is super soft and silky, which makes it a pleasure to apply and blend. Increase the intensity of your blush stroke by stroke and then simply blend in for beautifully pink cheeks. Available in 3 colours – Shy, Pink Passion and Pink Parfait.

4. LCN Care Lipstick – “Hello Captain”
This super subtle lipstick is ultra-nourishing and contains active ingredients (Maxi-lipTM) which help to plump lips and make them appear fuller. The product behaves more like a lip balm than a lipstick and leaves a delicate shade of fuchsia on the lips. I loved the way my lips looks after using this product and it now lives in my makeup bag for a quick pick-me-up between meetings.

5. Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Stick
This stunning product is part of the Physicians Formula Nude Wear collection and is the perfect tool for creating a natural-looking finish. The Touch of Glow Stick comes in a range of colours and I sampled the ‘Nude Glow 6401’ colour best suited for fair skin. Because this product blends so well it allows you to wear it under a full face of makeup or with nothing else on at all. I used it to cover up blemishes on days where I was wearing just mascara and eyeliner, no foundation and underneath my foundation for a flawless look. It’s super soft and often feels like you’re wearing nothing at all. The chubby retractable stick also makes it super easy to use.

6. Hean High Definition Quattro Eyeshadow (Grey Glow)
This nifty little palette gives you 4 eyeshadows in one compact shell. The range includes a wide selection of colour palettes but I tried the ‘Grey Glow’ palette which featured a dark grey shade, light grey shade, dusty pink shade, and a beige shade. I found the pigment of the shadows to be very good and the powder itself feels velvety soft on the skin. This colour combination is great for creating a soft smokey eye and worked well with the eyeshadow base.

7. Catrice ‘Made to Stay’ Highlighter Pen
These Catrice Highlighter Pens are the ultimate must-have for every makeup bag. If you struggle to create the perfect look with highlighter powders then you’re going to love this easy-to-use product. Application is super easy thanks to the retractable pen mechanism. The long-lasting creamy and powdery formula sets quickly and easily and allows to you create a radiant look. Use it to highlight under your eyebrows or the outer and inner corners of your eyes. The product also stays true to its claims of ‘Made to stay’ as it stays put for hours and only washes off using makeup remover.
