Man Crush Monday: Getting to Know Babyfaced SA Actor, Loyiso Macdonald.
Best-known for his breakout role as Ntando Sibeko in the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo, Loyiso Macdonald quickly became a household name in South Africa. The South African actor and voice artist is currently stealing our hearts on Mzansi Magic’s new drama, The Queen, and we love him for it! We sat down with the local heartthrob to find out what he gets up to when he’s not heating up our TV screens.

The perfect date is a movie at home, wine and comfort food.

I don’t have one particular thing as I am very forgiving, maybe even too much so. In general, I don’t like negativity, life is too short for bad vibes.
What do you like to do for fun or to relax?
XBOX! And occasionally a book or a long walk somewhere.
If you could instantly download three skills or super powers like an app what would they be?
3 skills I would download are flight, the ability to learn anything instantly and being able to control time, it’s precious.
Right now, what are you completely obsessed with?
I am completely obsessed with classic British and Italian cars. Mainly Alfa Romeo and Jaguar.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I am 30! Not 18.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
I am looking forward to getting out of my comfort zone, looking at new challenges to tackle.
What can’t you live without?
I cannot live without my gadgets. A bit dramatic, I know but the good ones really do make life easier.
