‘Madame Zingara’ Style Paint Party Heads for Joburg! [Event]

We know, we know; colour festivals are so last year but when we heard that the colour festival of all colour festivals was making its way to Joburg we just had to tell you the news. Life in Colour is unlike any colour festival you of been to before – with a combination of music, acrobatics and plenty of paint rather than the chalk colour we have come to expect, it’s Madame Zingara’s meets Holi-One! Here’s why you can’t afford to miss out on this unique EDM festival making its way to Jozi this September.
Taking place at the JHB Expo Centre at Nasrec on Saturday 5 September, Life in Colour is a must-attend event for music lovers and those who want to let their hair down and dance the night away with friends. The shows feature live sets by DJs accompanied by various artistic, circus-style performers and the audience is sprayed with non-toxic paint throughout the show.
Festival goers can expect to be sprayed with non-toxic paint from hoses and ultra powerful paint cannons on-stage to mini paint bottles in the hands of friends and family. But that’s not all; a countdown will also held for a special “paint blast” during the show, which features a mixture of paint and confetti. Dress in all-white and enjoy a day in full colour this September.
We’re most excited for the incredible aerial acts, stilt walkers and contortionists that will be performing to the music played by live DJs throughout the day. The festival will also be announcing the DJ lineup soon so keep an eye out for updates on the Life in Colour Facebook page.
Early Bird tickets for the festival have already sold out and next phase is on sale with artist announcements to follow, so get your ticket before the event completely sells out. Tickets start at R399 for general entrance and R599 for VIP entrance. Visit Webtickets to buy your tickets now!
