First South African Krispy Kreme Store Set to Open in Joburg!
It’s official – the very first Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in South Africa is set to open in Johannesburg! South African site, Business Tech spoke to Gerry Thomas, CEO of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts South Africa to bring us the news this week.
Doughnut lovers all over SA have been super excited about the launch of the American doughnut giant here in sunny South Africa and we have been waiting with baited breath to find out where the very first store will be. Well now, the kings of all things sweet have finally announced the spot for its very first location and we couldn’t be more excited!
Today they announeced that the first local branch will be found in (drum roll)… Rosebank, Johannesburg! The doughnut kings announced that the new store will open its doors at The Zone at Rosebank on 25th November 2015 and Rosebank residents can now sleep easy knowing that they will be just a stone’s throw away from the delicious delights when Krispy Kreme opens later this year.
Back in May, KK Doughnuts SA announced that they would be opening 31 stores all over South Africa over the next few years. We will continue to update you as we hear more news! Stay tuned to WomenStuff for all the details on the first location and opening date in 2015.
