Introducing Bloedlemoen Amber, Just in Time for Summer

Looking for an exciting new gin to whet your appetite this summer? It doesn’t get more exciting than the new Bloedlemoen Amber. The world’s first blood orange gin, Bloedlemoen has made quite a name for itself on the local craft gin scene and now, the distillery is back with a new offering that is sure to get gin lovers excited. The perfect summer sipper, Bloedlemoen Amber, offers gin lovers a new flavour profile using local fynbos ingredients to complement the flavour profile of the classic Bloedlemoen gin.

Created in 2015 by sommelier, Pierre Strydom, chef, Mike Jones and wine maker, Stefan Coetzee, Bloedlemoen gin is deliciously refreshing and distinctly South African. Bringing together classic gin botanicals, Juniper and Angelica Root, with Tarocco Blood Orange and Orange Peel, as a unique twist, Bloedlemoen stands out in an often over-crowded local craft gin market.

Now available at all good liquor stores in South Africa, Bloedlemoen  Amber is made with the same ten botanicals as the Classic Bloedlemoen gin, along with an exclusive selection of locally forged fynbos and honeybush to create a wonderfully unique gin infusion. This delicious gin brings forth hints of warm, sweet, creamy caramel on the nose, a spicy almost woody palate that is full of complexity and flavour and a strong, earthy, nutty finish with a juniper aftertaste. Enjoy Bloedlemoen Amber neat, on the rocks or with a cut of orange zest and tonic.
