After years of working as an Editor and writer for…
If you’ve been struggling to find a professional quality vegan hair care range that will care for your dry and damaged hair, nourish your scalp, and leave your hair looking and feeling great then you’re in luck because professional hair care brand, INOAR has just launched the oh-so-fantastic INOAR Vegan Range. Not only is it packed with all sorts of good-for-you vegan ingredients but it’s also cruelty-free!
Packed with Coconut oil, Olive oil, Macadamia oil, Argan oil & Wheat Germ oil and suitable for all hair types this delicious new range is a real treat for anyone who wants to be a little more conscious about the products they use and their effect on the planet. Perhaps one of the best things about this range is what it doesn’t contain. One of INOAR’s main philosophies is respect for life which is why all of the INOAR products across the different ranges undergo testing, but never on animals. Where the INOAR Vegan Range takes things one step further is that the products contain no ingredients of animal origin. INOAR says this new range was created to celebrate this attitude to remember that you can – and should – choose cosmetics that maintain a respectful relationship with nature and animals.
My dry, curly hair loved the moisture punch this hydrating shampoo and conditioner offered and after a few washes with this range, I must say I am a convert. The duo left my hair feeling super clean and looking shiny and healthy. I was also impressed with the lather I got from the SLS-free shampoo (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is an inexpensive detergent added to many beauty products), in fact, you probably won’t notice the difference. I particularly loved the conditioner which is ultra nourishing. Another plus is that the products aren’t super fragranced, you’ll get a very subtle nutty fragrance when you take a whiff, which means it is great for sensitive scalps like mine.
Because my hair is quite dry and my scalp super sensitive I tend to only wash my hair once a week so I found that this nourishing combo didn’t weigh down my fine, dense hair but if you’ve got very fine hair then I wouldn’t suggest it for daily use. The range also includes a Vegan Treatment Mask, I haven’t had the opportunity to try it but it could be a great addition for those who find they need a little extra oomph with a more intense treatment once a week.
The INOAR Vegan Shampoo and INOAR Vegan Conditioner both retail for R320 while the mask retails for R575. Want to know more? Visit the INOAR South Africa website for more information and to shop the range.
