Indulge in Cheesecake & Wine Pairings at Eikendal Vineyards this Summer
Who can possibly resist a cheesecake and wine pairing? Sounds like a dream, right? Well, your dreams just came true because Eikendal Vineyards has just become the first Stellenbosch wine estate to offer just that. The Cheesecake and Wine Pairing Experience at Eikendal Vineyards will take place this summer right up until April, so you have plenty of time to take advantage of this amazing offer.
Worth every creamy, divine calorie, there’s a range of cheesecakes paired with a selection of Eikendal’s wines. For instance, there’s the Sauvignon Blanc that pairs perfectly with the tart Lemon Cheesecake, while the Berry Cheesecake is a fantastic companion to the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay blend. There’s also the estate’s award-winning Janina Unwooded Chardonnay paired with the ultra-decadent Salted Caramel Cheesecake.
Apart from all that cheesecake and wine, there’s also plenty to do at Eikendal, including fly fishing, cheetah encounters, vineyard rides and a kid’s play area. If you’re looking for some more substantial grub, there’s the popular Cucina di Giovanni that offers languid lunches and dinners, and if you’d like to extend your stay, there’s always the Eikendal Lodge for a place to crash.
The Eikendal Cheesecake & Wine Pairing Experience costs R80 per person and will be swirling the senses from October 2017 until April 2018, Tuesdays to Sundays between 10:00 and 16:30.
