H&M is Coming To South Africa!

By now you’ve probably heard the news that H&M is coming to South Africa. Up until now the location of the first South African H&M store has been a closely guarded secret but this week Sandton City revealed that South Africa’s very first H&M will be opening at the popular Sandton City shopping mall! But that doesn’t mean that Capetonians are left out of the loop as rumour has it Cape Town is getting a store in 2015 as well. Keep reading for all the details.

Sanndton City took to their Facebook page to confirm that the Swedish clothing brand will be making its way to sunny South Africa. The first store is set to open at the popular Sandton shopping mall, complementing the extensive international fashion offering already available at the centre.

H&M is the second-largest global clothing retailer (with more than 3 000 stores in 59 countries) in the world and is well known for its affordable and trendy fashion for men, women and children. H&M’s new flagship store, which will be approximately 3 000m² in size and will open at Sandton City at the end of November, just in time to spoil fashionistas at Christmastime.

But wait, there’s more. It is is rumored that Cape Town may get an H&M before Gauteng as the retailer has plans to open a Cape store in October. No confirmation of the details yet but keep reading WomenStuff for the latest scoop on this fashion retailer’s arrival in South Africa.
