When you first walk into H&M Cape Town you’re struck by just how big it is (no seriously it’s huge!). The entire bottom level is dedicated to women’s wear and includes everything from casual wear (such as jeans, T-shirts, tank tops, skirts, fabulous flats, swimwear and more) to more formal attire including cocktail dresses and office wear. There’s also a huge lingerie section and sleepwear section as well as massive accessories and footwear section. Upstairs you will find the men’s wear, children’s clothing and homeware section (that’s right H&M homeware is here!). H&M have really gone all out with this store and it is set to become a massive shopping destination for locals looking for great quality clothes are affordable prices.

The thing that really struck me about the women’s wear in store was just how incredible the prints are! There are so many unique pieces in store that fashion foward ladies will love. In addition to the amazing prints there are also some fabulous pieces that are unlike anything we have available in SA at the moment. I felt like a kid in a candy store when I was shopping at H&M last night and I’m sure that when you visit you will too!

Ok, so let’s talk prices! I thought that H&M was going to do the same thing as Forever 21 and come in with insanely high prices that make you sweat and cry at the same time but no, the prices are actually very competitive. Obviously it depends on what you buy but there are some great bargains in store! I found a few super cute tank top style blouses at just R149 each, summer dresses at R149, short-shorts and T-shirts at R149 each, jeans at R229 and bras with matching panties at just R129 and R49 respectively.
