Good Food SA

If you’re a foodie looking for something awesome to do in Cape Town this weekend then make sure you pop in to the Good Food Wine Show 2015! Taking place at the CTICC from 21 – 24 May 2015 this year’s show is set to be a must-visit for anyone who loves to cook or eat fabulous food. Don’t believe us? The WomenStuff team went through to check it out and came up with these 3 reasons you simply have to pop in to the festival.

1. The Cake Boss himself will be there!

If you’re a fan of the show then you have to head through to catch a glimpse of Buddy Valastro from TV’s Cake Boss! Buddy is known for his sweet treats, wedding cakes and custom cakes for any occasion and if you love cake or baking then you can’t miss this opportunity to see the master at work.

2. You will be surrounded by incredible food.

This year the delicious world of culinary delights offers foodies an almost endless amount of eats and drinks to sip and sample. Fitness and health fanatics HAVE to check out all-natural protein shake brand Wazoogles, the Primal Pantry Paleo snack bars (beyond delicious) and the Coco V coconut water stand to try their coconut water cocktails and their new flavours! The ButtaNut stand with its incredible range of tree nut spreads and Amuse Wellness Deli with its Banting pies, burgers and more are also must visits. Of course, there also so much more to see and eat but you have to pop through yourself to see it all yourself. We shopped up a storm and stocked our pantries with everything from olives and sauces to cheese and more.

3. Rub shoulders with local food celebs.

There’s obviously loads more to see and do at this foodie event and trust us, you will want to try it all. To ensure you don’t miss anything make sure you check out the schedules and details on the Good Food & Wine Show website before you head through.
