Gift It App Makes Sending Even the Smallest Gift Easy Peasy
There’s a new gifting app in town and it’s going to change the way you to interact with your loved ones! Gift It is all about making the act of giving a daily affair and helps South Africans show someone they’re thinking of them by offering a range of teeny tiny, affordable gifts for everyday gifting as well as larger splurges for special occasions. There’s nothing quite like it at the moment and we’re sure it’s going to become a must-use for those who like nothing more than to share the love.
The new app is positioned as more of a digital gifting service rather than a shopping platform. Which is why over-the-top items that you would normally gift for a special occasion don’t really feature on their digital shelves. Instead you will find smaller items that allow you to spoil the person you are thinking of – choose from a selection of quick spoils like a chocolate slab, a cold drink, a magazine or an ice cream and larger items like a gift voucher for Cape Union Mart, a bottle of 12y/o Glenfiddich Whisky or a Google Play gift card.
The digital gifting service allows you to seamlessly send gifts to your chosen recipient – all via your mobile phone. It essentially replaces the need for the plastic gift card by sending the ‘gift voucher’ directly to the recipient’s phone. The app is also super easy to use and all you need to do is log on, choose a gift and the person you want to send it to from the contacts in phonebook and that’s it. Senders can also attach a private message to the receiver to read when they receive their gift. The recipient of your gift will then receive a voucher code on their smartphone which they can redeem at participating stores and online.
