Ghd Launches New Wide Plate Styler for Long, Thick Hair
We all know and love ghd for its incredible styling tools, and the ghd flat irons are beloved across the globe for their straightening technology. Now, to kick off a year of innovation and celebrations for its 20th anniversary, ghd has announced a revamped version of the professional wide plate styler, the ghd Max along with an exciting new range of heat protection products to protect the hair and ensure perfectly glamorous looks every time.
Designed for use on long, thick hair, the new ghd Max wide plate styler promises to enable seamless styling for long-haired lasses, in just half the time.

The new, sleek design features ghd’s patented dual-zone technology and their biggest plates yet, for faster styling than ever before. The brand says the new ceramic floating plates are 70% bigger than the ghd Original styling plates, to help cover more hair which each pass of the styler.
The new wider plates and dual-zone technology, help to cut down time spent styling the hair and according to ghd results in 80 per cent more shine and two times less frizz, without extreme heat.
The curved edges of the barrel allow for snag free styling and less breakage, while the barrel shape enables users to create a versatile range of looks, from flawlessly sleek styles to Hollywood glam curls.
Along with this exciting launch, ghd has also introduced a new range of styling products. Featuring 10 styling products to maximise heat styling and create beautiful results with a healthy finis, this new range is a must-have for any looking to take their styling to a new level. The heat protect styling products form a protective barrier between the heat of the styling tool and hair, helping you create beautiful looks with less damage.
The range includes a Straight On straight and smooth spray (R320), Pick me Up root lift spray (R320), Body Goals total body foam (R320), Dramatic Ending smooth and finish serum (R320), Shiny Ever After final shine spray (R320), and Prefect Ending final fix hairspray (R320).
