Get Into the Bavarian Festival Spirit at the Annual Bierfest, Cape Town
For all things German, from beers to bands, Eisbein to frauleins, you’ll love getting into the Bavarian festival spirit with the annual TOPS at Spar Bierfest in Cape Town. Staying true to the centuries-old tradition of Oktoberfest, the Bierfest brings the very best in Bavarian beer culture to Cape Town, promising a day of good times, great food, and delicious beer.
Taking place at Grandwest’s multipurpose facility, Sun Park on 3 and 4 November 2017, TOPS at SPAR Bierfest promises a memorable experience for beer lovers. Highlights from this year’s event include specially made Oktoberfest bier that is brewed once a year, especially for the occasion as well as plenty of local craft beers to sample.
On the entertainment side of things, there’s plenty of live music to enjoy, including traditional oompah music and popular rock mash-up band, The Rockerfellas who blend together music from famous DJs to hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and now that will get you up and onto the dance floor.
TOPS at SPAR Bierfest takes place at Sun Park from 3 – 4 November 2017. Tickets start from R155 for standard bier hall tickets and go up to R1,100 for the Braumeister package for 6 people. Tickets are available online from the Bierfest website.
