El Burro To Open New Mexican Eatery in Cape Town CBD!

Mexican lovers rejoice; Mexican restaurant, El Burro is growing once again and has plans to open a new, specialised taco restaurant. The new mini EL Burro Taqueria is set to open its door in the Cape Town City Bowl area very soon and we can’t wait! Here are the details on this new eatery.

With three very popular existing projects already on the go, the owners of, El Burro, Cabrito and the El Burro Food Truck will no doubt turn this mini El Burro into a huge success. The new spot is set to open its door somewhere around mid-July and will be a stripped down version of its sister restaurant in Green Point.

Located on Kloof Nek Road (opposite Rafiki’s), Diners can expect a ‘fast food’ style experience with smaller plates and counter service instead of sit-down table service by a team of waiters. The food menu will focus mainly on Mexican Tacos and quick Mexican eats and the drinks menu will offer tequila cocktails, draught beer on tap and wines by the glass.
