Dove Asks Women to Choose Beautiful in Powerful New Video
Dove has done it again! This time around the beauty brand is sending out a message to women all around the world that they should stop and reconsider the choices they make about their beauty. The new short film was shot in five countries around the world and aims to inspire women to recognise their individual beauty. According to Dove, a staggering 96% of women do not choose the word ‘beautiful’ to describe how they look. Dove believes feeling beautiful is a personal choice women should feel empowered to make for themselves, every day and through this rather candid and eye-opening film they challenge real women to make their own choices about their beauty. The women made a choice about the way they see themselves: ‘average’ versus the frequently avoided ‘beautiful’ and the film reveals that women often struggle to recognize their own beauty.
