Disney On Ice Returns to Cape Town this Winter

Disney on Ice fans will be elated to hear that the ice spectacular will once again be returning to Cape Town this July. GrandWest, the home of Disney On Ice in Cape Town, provides the stage for this year’s edition of the spellbinding show for the sixth consecutive year. With shows taking place from 19 to 23 July 2017, The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice features an extraordinary lineup of Disney stories which are brought to life with beautiful costumes, choreography and music.

At this year’s show little ones and their parents will be able to join in on the fun with Dory, Nemo and Marlin, Anna, Elsa, and the hilarious snowman Olaf along with other Disney favourites like Rapunzel, Snow White, Buzz, Woody, Simba, Timon and Pumba, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, and many more. The show offers plenty of interactive moments and kids and adults can sing along to some of their favourite Disney tunes during the show.

While you’re there, don’t forget to stock up on unique Disney memorabilia to take home and cherish for years to come. There will also be a variety of eats, drinks, and snacks available to purchase at the venue. Fans attending the show are urged to wrap up warm to enjoy the enchanting experience and children are allowed to bring small cushions to place on their seats.

Tickets are priced from R150 per person on weekdays and from R200 per person on Saturdays and Sundays. There are also special family packages available which offer a special discounted saving of R30 per ticket on bookings of four, five and six tickets in specific priced ticket categories across all shows. In compliance with safety regulations, each person, irrespective of age must have a purchased ticket. Babies in arms and children under two years sitting on a parent’s lap are required to have a “R50 babes in arms ticket”.
