We’ve got HUGE news — cult drugstore beauty brand, Makeup Revolution has finally launched in South Africa! The much loved UK brand is known for offering ladies incredible make-up at oh-so-affordable prices and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome it to South African shores. Since its launch in 2014, Makeup Revolution has built a name for itself thanks to its lighting fast turnaround on beauty trends, affordable palettes, and rather impressive range of luxury brand dupes. Here’s what you can expect from the brand when it launches in South Africa this month.
Launching in over 50 Clicks stores at the end of September, Makeup Revolution is a budget-conscious makeup addict’s dream come true. If you’re big on following make-up trends then Makeup Revolution will have you hooked from your very first product. Fans of the brand rave about Makeup Revolution’s highly pigmented, super soft eye shadows and dramatic, high-shimmer highlighters… and the fact that you can get it all for a steal. Offering incredible value for money, Makeup Revolution takes its cue from luxury brands in terms of trends and quality and is sure to be a real winner in South Africa.
If you’re not sure what to buy when the products finally hit a Clicks near you, fan favourites include the Iconic 1 Eyeshadow Palette (a neutral-hued palette said to be an impressive dupe of Urban Decay’s Naked palette), Iconic Pro 1 Eyeshadow Palette (a versatile mix of shades that’ll allow you to create both soft daytime looks and more intense smoky eyes for nights on the town), Ultra Brow Palette (the ultimate brow-enhancing kit), Retro Luxe Matte Lip Kits (a super impressive dupe for Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lip Kits), and the Soph Highlighter Palette (this combination of warm and cool shades allow you to add a glow to every part of the face).
But what about prices? Makeup Revolution is known for its incredible price points and South Africans can expect the same budget-friendly prices here in the Republic with eyeshadow palettes going for as little as R129 and the most expensive product being just R350! The popular Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer for example is priced at just R104,95 and the Brow Pomade R149.95.
The products are currently being rolled out in select Clicks stores around South Africa until November 2018 including Tableview, Cavendish, Canal Walk, Gardens Centre, and Tygervalley in Cape Town and Cresta, Fourways Mall, Sandton City, Northgate Mall, and Waterfall Mall in Johannesburg.
