Cuddly Rhino Coin Bank Raises Funds for Wildlife ACT

The rhino is one of South Africa’s most iconically endangered species and in support of conserving the depleting population, Prima Toys and Wildlife ACT have joined forces once again to raise funds for orphaned baby rhinos. This time around they’re once again urging South African’s to adopt a furry Wildlife ACT Rhino Coin Bank from their nearest toy store.
Not only will these cuddly coin banks help to raise awareness about rhino poaching and conservation efforts amongst children and younger generations but a portion of sales will also be donated to Wildlife ACT, a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving endangered species in South Africa. As part of their commitment to wildlife conservation, the organisation also facilitates the funding of different organisations that care for baby rhinos that have been orphaned as a result of poaching.
The funds from the sale of the coin banks will be used to sponsor the teams that find and rescue the baby rhinos; the formula needed to feed them, and the upgrade of security where the rhinos are held until they are ready to be released.
These cute, cuddly ‘piggy banks’ will be available at all leading toy stores and supermarkets (including Hamley’s, Checkers, Pick ‘n Pay, Toyzone and Game) for R199.99, and for every purchase, Prima Toys will donate R10 to Wildlife ACT.
