How to Create the Perfect Coral Manicure at Home [Watch]

Nothing says summer like coral! If you love coral as much as we do then you need to try this fabulous manicure tutorial by Essie’s lead manicurist, Rita Remark. Watch as she demonstrates how to recreate a look that combines the colour and shape of natural coral – she calls it “coral blocking”.
The look is created using Essie’s Tart Deco, Peach Daiquiri, and Blanc.
HOW-TO:
1. Prep nails with a layer of ridge filling base coat, followed by two coats of tart deco.
2. Paint half of the nail with peach daiquiri.
3. Use a striping brush dipped in blanc to paint a coral formation starting at the cuticle.
4. Create 1 to 2 coral formations depending on the width of nails and top it off with no chips ahead top coat.
Rita’s Tips:
Paint horizontal and vertical stripes with tart deco and peach daiquiri to give each nail a unique look.
