Cocoon Launches Art House Movie Nights on First Thursdays

If you love First Thursdays then you’ll love this interesting new twist on this artsy, cultural monthly event – new premium nightclub, Cocoon Cape Town, will be screening art house movies on the first Thursday of every month from the 2nd November 2017.

Located on the 31st floor of the ABSA building in the CBD, guests can look forward to watching old favourites from Woody Allen and Wes Anderson flicks to Amelie and Chocolat, all in a comfy lounge setting with bar and waiting service for that VIP cinematic experience. The Cocoon movie nights debut with The Grand Budapest Hotel in November.

The first movie event will take place on Thursday 2 November 2017 with a screening of The Grand Budapest Hotel. Tickets cost R180 per person and includes a complimentary gin and tonic, popcorn, cheese and tapas platters as well as entry to the after party at Cocoon with deep house DJs performing until 02:00.
