Cocktail Sausages: Support Cape Dachshund Rescue with Tito’s Handmade Vodka & Orphanage [Win]
Love dogs? Here’s your chance to show some support for pups in need. The best bit? It involves cocktails… and sausages (of the dog variety). This August, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Orphanage Cocktail Emporium in Cape Town are hosting a Pop-Pup Charity Drive in support of Cape Dachshund Rescue and all you need to do to help is drink craft cocktails. Pretty easy… am I right?
The Pop-Pup Charity Event will take place on Saturday 4 August at Bree Street’s Orphanage Cocktail Emporium and will see Tito’s Brand Ambassador whipping up a bunch of crafty cocktails for just R65 each. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Cape Dachshund Rescue and Tito’s has committed to matching the funds raised at the event to give back even more to the community.
Cape Dachshund Rescue is run by a team of volunteers who help homeless pups find foster homes. The organisation covers all medical costs involved in keeping the animals healthy, which is why they rely on public donations. So by supporting this event, you’re helping a bunch of pups live happier lives — what a wonderful cause!
Those attending can also expect a brief talk on the organisation while sipping on a drink or two, and enjoy the company of a few of their adorable pups, as well as a kissing booth to raise additional funds. There will also be a raffle of dog treats and goodies up for grabs.
Animals lovers will also be thrilled to hear that this isn’t the first time Tito’s is helping our furry friends. The Texan vodka brand also has a Tito’s ‘Vodka for Dog People’ program which seeks to find loving homes for abandoned and homeless furry friends. The company has partnered with over 6000 charity organisation within the last year, many of them involved in animal welfare and adoption.
